What it does for you – plant by plant
Rose - In both Eastern and Western herbal traditions, rose is the herb of the heart. Emotionally opening, anti-inflammatory, and deeply nourishing to the nervous system. Rich in vitamin C. Rose holds the grief and the love with equal tenderness.
Hibiscus - Supports cardiovascular health and healthy circulation — literally nourishing the physical heart. High in antioxidants that protect cells from stress. The tart brightness of hibiscus adds vitality and life force to what could otherwise become a heavy blend.
Linden Flower - One of the most heart-specific herbs in Western herbalism. Traditionally used for anxiety that manifests as heart palpitations, chest tightness, or the physical sensation of emotional pain. Deeply soothing and profoundly tender in its action.
Chamomile - Soothes grief held in the digestive system — where emotional pain often lodges. Anti-inflammatory and gently antispasmodic. Chamomile creates the feeling of being held while the deeper herbs do their work.
Calendula - Gentle, restorative, and anti-inflammatory. Supports the lymphatic system — the body's system for clearing what is no longer needed. In flower essence tradition, calendula is known for its quality of warm, solar receptivity — the capacity to receive love as well as give it.
